Gabriola Island’s Archives are located in the Gabriola Museum at 505 South Road. The Archives are maintained by volunteers, including an archivist and several assistants. Using the Past Perfect digital record-keeping system, the Museum Archives include:
Reference books on West Coast history and island life, historical maps, brochures, posters and photos of more recent historical events on Gabriola, as well as paintings and graphic artwork by Gabriolans are also maintained in the Archives.

Donations of archival materials are most welcome. All documents and items donated to the Gabriola Museum Archives are available to the public, subject to the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
